I got an email this morning about an ASL poet named Angus English, with a few of his pieces on YouTube. For those of you lacking the ASL skills, have no fear, they are captioned for the Signing Impaired.
Powerful pieces.

Number, the First
I'm not a blogger. Really.
Just ask my wife, who TWICE purchased my "paid" status over at livejournal, only for me not to post anything. I start to blog on occasion, but drop it. Is this another such attempt? Who knows? But I persevere.
My intent on these pages is to allow a glimpse into how my mind works. It can, at times, range from witty to borderline demented. Fair warning.
So, I found myself doing well this morning. Both Courtney and I needed to be out early this morning, so we got the kids all dressed and ready to go and out the door right when we needed to go...or so I thought.
I arrived at work just a bit before 7:30, a time I was told we would need to leave the hospital by to make it to the patient's morning appointment (a time I THOUGHT was 8).
NOPE. The patient's appointment was, in fact, scheduled for 7:30, and we needed to leave by 7.
Can't catch a break, can I?
Needless to say, all went well otherwise.
